A facade, scaffolding, a construction site, or a festival stage: at this size, every square meter counts. At PrintSimple you can have a large banner printed from 40 m² up to 200 m² per banner, from € 5.99 per m² (excl. VAT). You enter the width and height in centimeters; we print in full color and finish the banner the way you want to hang it. Delivery starts from 4 business days; the exact lead time for your configuration is shown at the bottom of the order module.
You aren't sure how to properly design your print file? Check out the design guidelines for XXL banners.
The right choice mainly depends on where the banner will hang and how much wind it has to withstand.
| Material | Weight and certificate | Choose it if |
|---|---|---|
| Frontlit | 510 g, FR B1 | you need a sturdy all-round material for a facade or frame. It gives the sharpest print of the PVC banners. |
| Mesh and budget mesh | 270-280 g, FR B1 | the banner hangs high up or in an open area, for example, on scaffolding. The perforated material lets wind through. Up close (less than 2 meters), the print is less detailed. |
| ProPES Outdoor | 225 g, polyester | you want a lighter, recyclable material printed with water-based inks. Not flame-retardant. The shortest side is 300 cm at most. |
| ProPES FR B | 225 g, FR B | you need the same light polyester, but flame-retardant. The shortest side is 300 cm at most. |
| Speaker mesh | 250 g, FR B1 | you want to cover a speaker tower or stage wall without muffling the sound. |
| Backlit | 500 g | the banner is lit from behind, as in a light box. |
| Blockout 4/0 and 4/4 | 610-650 g, FR B1/B2 | no light may shine through the banner, or you want it printed on both sides (4/4). |
You'll find more about each material on our help page, which material to choose for your banner. For events, trade fairs, or public buildings, check in advance whether FR B1 is required.
You decide how the banner is fixed. Choose eyelets in the corners, every 30 cm or every 50 cm, with or without hemmed edges. For tension frames and poles, choose a Ø 6 cm tunnel at the top and bottom, or on the left and right. Keep important text and logos away from the edges so eyelets or tunnels don't cut through them. The differences are explained on our page which finishing to choose for banners.
For an XXL banner, the shipping method affects the price. If the shortest side is longer than 200 cm, a folded banner is cheaper to ship. The downside is that fold lines may remain visible. If the banner hangs high up or is seen from a distance, you will hardly notice them. If it will be viewed up close, choose an unfolded banner. Read more in folding or rolling your banners.
At this size, a file is never supplied at full scale. We work with a scale factor and an adjusted resolution to ensure the file remains manageable. Follow our design guidelines for banners before uploading. That way you avoid a reprint on a surface where mistakes quickly become expensive.
For banners under 40 m², order a custom banner up to 40 m². For construction fences, choose mobile fence banners in standard sizes, and for a PVC-free alternative, there are eco banners. If your project falls outside the standard options, request a custom quote.
A banner is at least 40 m² and at most 200 m². You enter the width and height yourself in centimeters.
An XXL banner costs from € 5.99 per m² excl. VAT. The final price depends on the material, the finishing, and whether the banner may be folded. You see the price as soon as you have selected all options.
Yes, with blockout 4/4. This material blocks light, so the print on one side does not show through on the other.
Mesh or budget mesh. These materials are perforated and let wind through, which reduces the load on the banner and its fixings.
FR B1 is a fire classification for flame-retardant materials. It is mandatory at many events, trade fairs and in public buildings. Frontlit, mesh, speaker mesh, and blockout are FR B1 certified.
