From mountains to marathons: meet Margot, our new intern

PrintSimple has a new face in the team! Meet our new intern, Margot, a graphic designer from Antwerp specializing in branding. For the coming weeks, she will be strengthening the PrintSimple team with her creative eye and passion for print.

Hi! I'm Margot, and I'm currently finishing up my third year in Graphic and Digital Media at AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Antwerp. My specialization is branding, which is so much more than just a logo or a color palette. It is about crafting a complete story. Think campaigns, posters, the way people experience a product, and even the typography that brings it all together. I even designed my own font, which is easily one of the projects I'm most proud of.

I stumbled upon PrintSimple while looking into the world of print, and I immediately knew: this is where I want to be. The combination of creative work, printed products, and a hands-on environment? Sign me up!

Ready for some fun facts about me?

I live for the mountains. Skiing, snowboarding, hiking... if it involves nature and fresh air, I am in. Part of this love was born in Austria, where I once found myself walking among a herd of cows. Which brings me to my next point.
My favorite animal is the cow. Yes, really. There is something about cows that just makes me happy. Maybe it is my Austrian story, maybe it is their calm, yet silly, energy. Either way, do not underestimate the cow!
I am training for not one, but two races. A half marathon at the end of March, followed by a 10-mile run in April. Why, you might ask? I love a good challenge. Wish me luck!
