How long does a flag last?
Last updated on
Flags are subject to the weather elements. For example, they wear out faster in a lot of rain and wind, and they last longer in sunny weather. Under the average Belgian weather conditions, the lifespan of a single-sided flag is about 3 months if it is always hung outside. Do you want the flags to last longer? Then bring them in when it starts to storm! If the flag has to weather a storm, it can get damaged in one day.
Double-sided flags last a lot less long because they are heavier. Their weight will cause them to tear faster, which is why we do not recommend these. You can find more information about printed flags here.
