I am Brecht, a marketing student at Hogeschool PXL. When I was looking for an internship, I was looking for a company where I could work in a marketing-related field. During my research, I discovered PrintSimple. I looked at the website and my interest was piqued immediately. After sending an email, I quickly received a positive response. After an introductory meeting and a discussion of the tasks and goals, among other things, I could get straight down to work.
I was very enthusiastic and was looking forward to putting the knowledge I had gained from my studies into practice and gaining new experiences during this internship.
What really appeals to me at PrintSimple is the pleasant, easy-going working atmosphere. The great and enthusiastic colleagues, fun team activities and good atmosphere helped my internship to run smoothly and pleasantly. You are also seen as a permanent member of the team and not as “just another intern”. In addition, my tasks were discussed in order to ensure that they fitted in as well as possible with my marketing studies and my personal interests. It was a very varied and interesting program from which I learned a lot. Content marketing through writing blogs, newsletters, online content, social media posts, the use of various tools… More specifically, I was very interested in SEO. This is what I focused on for a considerable time during my internship.
During this internship, I learned how important it is to analyze situations in a team, to discuss exactly what needs to be done and then to work on this individually. If I had any questions or concerns, I could always turn to my colleagues who were always ready to give me advice and feedback. The variation in tasks, the gained knowledge and experiences together ensure that this internship was a resounding success!
My advice to future interns is to go for it all the way. Be motivated to do as many things as possible and to gain experience. An internship period is quickly over, so try to enjoy it!
